For the second straight year Iowa's bicycling and trail non-profit organizations are
teaming up in a powerful one-day fundraising event on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. The
event is called Big Bike Give and sponsored by the Iowa Bicycle Coalition. Big Bike
Give is bringing together non-profit organizations that have a primary focus on
bikes and trails for a day to raise awareness, share time in the spotlight, and raise
funding for our missions.
The Raccoon River Valley Trail (RRVT) is one of the trails participating in the event.
As a non-profit organization the RRVT relies on the support of individuals and organizations to keep our Hall of Fame trail in good shape. Our partners and sponsors understand the value of having scenic, historical and nationally recognized opportunities for Iowans and tourists to enjoy our state while supporting our local businesses. We hope you will join with hundreds of other individuals to financially support the RRVT to ensure it remains an invaluable asset to the entire country and an engine for health, wellness, tourism, and economic activity for central Iowa.
Donations through the Big Bike Give online portal to charitable nonprofit organizations
are tax-deductible and cannot be refunded. Contributions may be made via credit and
debit card only. Donations will be received and receipted by GiveGab. GiveGab is a
nonprofit giving platform that helps nonprofits to raise money, engage donors and
manage volunteers quickly and efficiently. Each donation made to a participating
nonprofit will be disbursed directly from GiveGab via direct deposit within 5-7 business
days.
