AND, OH, FOR SOME LIVE THEATER IN ONE OF OUR TRAIL TOWNS! As best we know, the Greene County Community Players in Jefferson -- a good community theater troupe -- is the only one in any of our towns along the Raccoon River Valley Trail doing live productions. But they only have been doing them during the school year. We want to encourage live summer theater in one or more communities along the RRVT. We've looked at buildings that might be convertible in Jefferson, Cooper and Yale, but we're sure there are possibilities in the other communities, too. We think the productions will not only be popular with trail users who are making overnight stays, but also with the big "lake crowd" around Panora in the summertime.
